The 2011 Annual Spring Gala will be held Friday, May 6 at the KI Convention Center adjacent to Hotel Sierra in downtown Green Bay. A block of rooms has been reserved for the event at $89/night for 2 queen beds or $99/night for 1 King bed. To make reservations before the April 16 deadline, call 1-800-236-3330 or visit www.hotel-sierra.com and mention A&A Alexandrina Center to receive the special rate.
The Centerís staff is proud to announce the keynote speaker: Jill Stanek. Jill is a nurse turned pro-life crusader, speaker, columnist, and blogger, dedicated to protecting both preborn and postborn innocent human life. Please check out the bio on her website at: www.jillstanek.com/bio/ for a bit more of Jillís life story.
As usual, the Spring Gala will feature a silent auction with the doors opening at 5 p.m. at the KI Convention Center for early bidding, and the always popular oral auction conducted by current Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt. After dinner and the important words from our speakers, the evening will continue with dancing to the big band sounds of The Brass Factory while the silent auction comes to a close.
Ticket prices are the same as last year -- $30/person, $50/couple, $250/table of 10, $300/Corporate Table of 10 that includes the name of the business highlighted on the table and on a sponsor board. Checks can be made out to A&A Alexandrina Center and sent to Mary Pauly, 1695 Mill Rd., Greenleaf 54126, phone 1-920-532-4740, email address marypauly48@yahoo.com.
The Center, having just moved a few blocks south of its old location to 101 S. Webster is ready and able to accept silent and oral auction items. You can call or just stop in.
On behalf of the entire A&A Alexandrina Center volunteer team, and especially on behalf of all of the women and children that we serve, I want to thank each and every attendee of last year's Spring Gala. We had a record-setting year with the largest attendance in the Galaís seven year history.
Thanks to your generous support, Green Bay Pregnancy Help is able to continue serving pregnant women in the Northeast Wisconsin region and women and their children at our MOMís Home.
Thank you for your clear stand for the intrinsic dignity of all human life, and may God bless you richly in the coming year.
Sincerely,
