History:

Green Bay Pregnancy Help of A&A Alexandrina Center has been serving the women of Northeast Wisconsin since 1992 when it was founded by Dorothy O'Mally and Lee Mayer. For some years prior, both women privately helped pregnant women in need and eventually founded A&A Alexandrina Center to better serve the growing needs of these women.

Concerned by several studies that documented harmful physical and psychological side effects experienced by women who have had abortions, they wanted to be sure that women considering this option understood the risks involved.

Understanding the stress that unexpectedly pregnant women experience, Dorothy and Lee created the center to be a place that not only provided women with all the facts about abortion, adoption and single motherhood, but also to provide the resources these women needed to make the proper decision.

In addition to providing diapers, formula, baby clothes and furniture to new mothers, GB Pregnancy Help of A&A Alexandrina Center also hosts the annual "Sponsor-a-Family-for-Christmas" program. This program ensures that every member of sponsored families has something special to unwrap on Christmas morning.

Green Bay Pregnancy Help of A&A Alexandrina Center and MOM's Home are staffed by a 100-percent volunteer team. We are a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. We are sustained solely through private donations. We do not accept state or federal funding.

All financial donations go to those women we are here to serve. Thank you for your support.
